Irakli Sanaia
Irakli Sanaia was born in 1983. First he graduated from the studio “Berikebi” and then from Shota Rustaveli Georgian State University of Theatre and Film acting faculty. He has the scholarship of the President of Georgia.
In 2001-2003 he was the artistic director of the National Academy of Defense of Georgia Club, and in 2003-2007 he was Giorgi Eristavi Gori State Drama Theatre artist. In 2005-2012 he worked as a choreographer at children’s school-studio “Home at the Theatre.”
Since 2007 he has been Shota Rustaveli State Drama Theatre artist.
He has performed in following performances at G. Eristavi Gori State Drama Theatre: “Open Glass Gallery,” “Hellados,” “Marshal de Fantie’s Diamond,” “Chinchraka,” “Crane Wings,” “Charlie’s Aunt.”

Irakli Sanaia is the winner of the project “The Company” of Shota Rustaveli State Drama Theatre and TV Company Rustavi 2. He has received a prize for Best Male Role in the International Festival of Theatre in Susbach (Germany).
